This book had some good bones as a silly fantasy read — it’s funny, the MC is an absolute goober, and the concept is unique.
However, the story was all over the place, there were several very unclear events/plot points, and the main conflict was introduced at 71% of the way through the book (resolved at ~97%).
It’s a fast read, and the writing is simple enough that it’s not difficult to finish. But I think a heavier hand in editing could have really made it a blast to read, rather than something I finished because it wasn’t very long.
