3.75⭐️ This was not what I was expecting, but it made me very contemplative! As someone who is the oldest of 4 sisters, ages spread out VERY similarly to the girls in the book (even down to the “Irish twin”!), this book made me miss my sisters and really think about how beautiful and tragic it is to look at all of our stories and the different lives we’ve lived and things we have each had to endure. I don’t think this book will be for everyone, and it definitely had some things I didn’t like or enjoy. Some of it seemed unnecessarily crass and sexual, but overall the story was really beautiful and REAL. Just the entangled life of siblings and their parents. Messy and real.
