This is another one I feel torn on. The story was interesting, I was never bored with it, but I had so many problems with it overall.
•TOO MANY CHARACTERS AND POVS AND TIMELINES! I think I’m just discovering that personally I can’t keep up with constantly shifting timelines and POVs. It feels like WORK to keep up with what’s happening. Like I felt like I should’ve been taking notes just to keep track of everyone. I don’t like that personally.
•It seems like a lot of things happened to lead us a lot of different directions and ultimately they played no part in the story at all?
•The story was all over the place. Whose disappearance are we even trying to solve at a certain point?!
The writing was great and the pacing was good! This was not a bad book by any means, but definitely not my favorite mystery/thriller
