I liked this book and am keeping my rating the same. However, after learning the author is writing fiction with AI, I don’t plan to read more. Just not for me.The story was good, but there were three spots where the editor clearly updated the way a scene was done and then forgot to remove the unedited version. Overall, I enjoyed it and thought the story (if not all of the execution) was good.(Interestingly, the author has built an audience on non-woke approaches to storytelling — which I appreciate — but it’s clear he’s not reading over his finished product. There are multiple instances of liberal ideology that peek through, likely through AI’s typical bias.)
