I enjoyed this one so much! There’s a lot that would normally make me not love it — slower pacing, not super high stakes, etc. — but Jobson somehow drew me in and made me look forward to turning on this audiobook as often as I could.
The MC and supporting characters are all distinctive, interesting, and people I wanted to know more about. He unfolded the world and the stakes of the plot in a way that left me craving more but that was never too fast or slow.
It’s absolutely a cozy read, so if you’re looking for something with high stakes and filled with action, this one probably isn’t a read for right now. But it definitely scratches the itch for something both interesting and enjoyable without being overwhelming. Another LitRPG win!
