This ending has me wigging out!
I do think this book was a slight improvement on book 1, even though they were both easy five star reads.
Liv went from one of my favorite POVs to the chapters I dreaded the least.
Any chapter taking place around The Color Prince had me counting the pages, but that probably just says something about how little I care for villains.
Kip’s growth through this book was such an incredible experience that I was nearly jumping out of my seat for the last six chapters. He’s becoming an all-timer for me.
The plot twists at the end had my jaw dropping. I can’t think of an author that has done that so successfully in nearly every book he’s written. From all four Night Angel novel to both Lightbringer books I’ve read thus far, he’s really had me enthralled.
Ironfist & Teia both became very dear to me within these pages & I look forward to spending more time with the for three more books. I’m genuinely dreading the day that I will have nothing new from this world to read.
