[SPOILER] Issue 150 hit me so hard. The culmination of years of my life wrapped into one beautifully bittersweet conclusion. It was the longest volume by far & I still finished the whole thing in just over 24 hours. I had to know how it ended! There were two things that keeps this from retuning to the five star form of the Tom Waltz run: 1. Oddly enough—and I can’t believe I’m saying it—the Waltz issues were the worst part of this entry. The Armageddon Game was teased for a couple dozen issues as this grand chess game with multiple villains & it ended up being a one-issue long battle. I found it disappointing. 2. After the incredible issue that ended the main storyline, I was left with a five issue mini series. It wasn’t bad, but it lessened the emotional impact of seeing the story end the way 150 closed it all up. The final 13 issues of the main run were with the ride of admission. This is still the definitive version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. [/SPOILER]
