Three opinions about Night Angel Nemesis: 1. I hate first person narrations, especially when it’s gimmicky like this. 2. This book was 200-300 pages longer than it needed to be. 3. I love Brent Weeks enough that the first two points don’t matter. It’s been so long since I’ve gasped at the end of a book. Masterful work here. I missed all the characters from The Night Angel Trilogy so much, especially Logan & Vi. I do wish we’d seen more of them both, but the major players all stayed true to themselves & it was like revisiting old friends. The new character fit right in as well! The villain truly upped the stakes from the last books & I was glued to the page from start to finish not I hadn’t gotten married two weeks after starting it, I would’ve flown through it just like the other Weeks books!
