Volume one was a fantastic introduction & now we finally get to dove into these characters. I’ve always been impressed by Remender & Craig for their ability to use the magnifying glass of a school for assassins to really show who the kids are: very broken with the inability to trust anyone.
The backstories for Marcus & Maria gave some great depth. I remembered both stories well from my first read in 2014/2015, but it was still so enjoyable.
And also, Wes Craig is a madman. One of my favorite artists of all time. Some of these page layouts seriously blow my mind.
