One thing I’ve always loved about Deadly Class is that it makes me sad in a good way. This volume definitely made me sad, but it was almost more regretful.
I appreciate knowing that any character could die at anytime. And I love seeing these characters almost 20 years later, but the realism of it, while beautiful, is also hard to read.
All that ti say, Remender built this up perfectly & succeeded in everything he intended to do. As I enter into the beginning of the end, I truly have no idea what could happen.
And Wes Craig is still brilliant. The little process sections in the back of the book are so interesting to look through!
