The concept was a good one but gosh it felt messy and all over the place. Too much going on with characters that needed more development. Tom is a pussy (sorry fans, but the fragile masculinity “I can’t stand up to Jamie” shit was kind of annoying. There was a few glances at where Tom could have really shined and there was a lack of follow through. The book didn’t get interesting until the last 60 pages. Kind of disappointing.
I didn’t love the hating game and I’m in the same boat for this one too.
